We live in a world of advertising and constant bombardment by logos, words, design and messages. Most of them you can filter out and thank goodness because for the most part they’re pap! Some however do catch your attention for one reason or another.

This is my design blog. I am going to keep a record of interesting designs that I see around. With my trusty Sony Ericsson K750i QuickShare camera phone I will capture them forever (despite it’s dodgy navigation button!). And to keep things interesting I will rate them with my special patented Ghettometer! If something is Ghetto it gets 10 rims. If something is heinously lame it gets 0 (maybe even -1, in which case it owes me a set of rims!). Enough talk! Let the games begin!

AT-AT Walker:
Short for “All Terrain Attack Transport” and featured for the first time in The Empire Strikes Back during the battle on the ice planet of Hoth this is officially the most ghetto design in the history of mankind. However, in practice, this design is fundamentally flawed. It’s name suggests it can go anywhere but like ED-209 I’d like to see it navigate a massive staircase! No, it would fall to its big cumbersome doom. Of course this matters not, because it’s not real.

Contender for best design ever?
