I watch a lot of films and TV shows and I’ve never been struck by a edited sequence that fits its brief so well. This main title sequence for HBOs True Blood is amazing. Created by DIGITALKITCHEN, it captures everything about the show – the Americana, the sex, the religious aspects of the deep south. The song choice is perfect and the way the editing runs with the music is brilliant.

Anyway, I’m not going to bore you with any more words. Just watch and marvel at the artistry.
